Packs down small enough to fit in any bag, extends just big enough to catch fish anywhere. Most bang for your buck I’ve seen in a long time.

I have not used this rod on the beck yet conditions not right trout out of season until April.The-rod is very well made,but is quite on the stiff side but is very accurate if you use the caterpult cast I was landing the fly on a saucer at 6 foot ,the beck I fish is so overgrown that it is almost impossible to do an overhead cast.So this rod fits the bill on this beck.I think it is value for money 🎣

Fishing small streams, where we have to hike a bit to get to the water.... this pole is absolutely perfect. I typically fly fish with an Orvis fly rod outfit but wanted something easier, with less hassle. My Tenkara rod set up was exactly what I was looking for. I was a little worried at first that the line would be too short but in a matter of minutes I started catching some guadalupe bass, cichlid, and various sunfish. What a fun day. I am a true fan of the Tenkara rods!! Looking forward to getting back on the water soon.

rod is well made, and a great size for hiking bushy streams, but is far to stiff in my opinion
