Not a bad tool, but a large piece of the white casing / sheath cracked off on the first use. Still works however.

Found aftermarket rims for snow tires, got them mounted then installed them at home when the weather turned. That's when we discovered that the socket we had was too thick! We were able to find one in the tool chest that worked to get the rims on but needed one to stay with the car, having a spare tire won't do us any good if we can't get the flat off. I had to pull the sleeve off which was tricky and scratched the socket so it's a good thing it fit cause I was keeping it at that point. Purchased a ratchet breaker bar to go with the socket in the rig and now it's set. I will admit, at this point we haven't used it, I'll update in the spring when we pull the winter tires off, but only if I need to change my * * * * * opinion. If it works as I expect I won't need to update anything. If it has issues and breaks, I'll let you know.

Removed my lug nuts with no damage to wheels. Great product and value for the money.

Snapped after multiple uses; guesstimate >16 uses before it broke at the spline points - 2 locations.Sent pics to the company per their customer service information listed via Amazon.No response nearing 30 days later.Don't buy it knowing it'll break and won't have any warranty.Thank you for the time of use.

The socket ships with a black plastic hanger that must be removed before attaching the socket to a wrench or breaker bar. The plastic hanger is marked "cut here" but that didn't release the hanger from the socket. I eventually had to break the hanger into several pieces, and pry it out of the socket with a screw driver. Unfortunately, doing that scratched the red finish on the socket. The red finish does not seem very durable.
