Bought this on a whim, just because.It works fine, seems to keep time pretty well and yes it's easy to read... for a clock that's completely backwards. Great fun, confesses everyone the sees it.Well worth the money for the smiles alone.

L'autre horloge, de la même marque, a égrené les heures pendant plus de 20 ans et à survécu à deux déménagements. Le troisième lui fut fatal : j'ai cassé la lentille en plastique et tordu une aiguille. Très content de découvrir que la marque existe toujours et de pouvoir remettre les pendules à l'heure.

I was given a backwards clock by my aunt way back in the mid 1960s, which functioned until 1986! I was lookiing for another one and found the customer reviews favoring this Tobar Backwards Clock. I have now had it for a month and it keeps perfect time. I always get a kick out of having the grandchildren do their grandfather a favor and look at the time for me; then there is a period of silence from them, as they try and mentally grasp what is before their eyes, until finally they realize that every thing is backwards. Having a backwards clock forces me to focus on the time, and I then remember it; whereas with "regular" clocks, I can look at the time and within a short period I have forgotten what the time was that I just look at. So this is a win, win product.
