I ordered this because of the colors, but honestly fearing I'd have to return it because the gloves would prove too large for my small-woman hands...I was pleasantly surprised they are only slightly too big, not enough to be unsightly or uncomfortable. The color is all I had hoped for. I had been having trouble finding a winter set that blended in with my burgundy coat, because while it looks red at first instance, the coat has a definite "ripening eggplant" wine-purple undertone to it so the more common deep-red scarves and hats are not a perfect match. This ensemble is perfect for it--it has a mix of threads that make the weave redder in some areas and bluer in others, with an overall "cool" undertone rather than a fire engine or brick red, just like the coat I wanted it to match. What else would be helpful to know? The scarf is of standard length, thick but not heavy, and more importantly, not scratchy. The hat is lined with a very dark "furry" fabric that helps insulate one's head. It's comfortable, with good stretch in both directions. I haven't noticed any major "static-y" issues with it and it doesn't make my hair frizz. The gloves' touch-screen fingertips are not fantastic, but that's probably because they're not snug on me. They'd probably work better for someone with larger hands that fill up the gloves. I don't mind that small grievance because that's not a feature I need much. I recommend this set!
