A toilet roll holder, 5 stars may seem a bit excessive but when you need a slim, not too long useful toilet roll holder with a lid and find the exact item that will fit easily into bottom of small linen cupboard it shows how pleased I am with it. Also it keeps its looks stays stable and easily accessible and holds a good number of toilet rolls.

This toilet roll storage bin does look quite neat, and does provide a storage solution for larger quantities of paper. It's very compact on arrival and is quite easy to put together, just pushing the upright rods into each upper corner and securing with the Velcro tab, so can be just as easily packed away when not needed.My main concern is it being of a canvas construction with bamboo rigid supports. This does mean that it really has to be kept well away from the toilet if the household includes people who stand to use it, as the fabric can't be removed for washing. It's usefulness for the intended purpose may depend heavily on whether you have the bathroom space to keep it far enough away from the loo to be sure of no unwanted contamination.

Ever since the events of a few years ago or so I have been keen on buying toilet roll in bigger packs because (a) it lasts me a long time and I don't have to worry about buying more for a while and (b) it is a load off my mind to know it's there and that I'm not going to run out or be forced to do battle with the panic buyers in the supermarket should any new catastrophe befall us! This isn't all sunshine & rainbows though as bulk buying an object like toilet paper brings up a challenge of it's own - storage. What to do with all these rolls?!Here I have found a nice little answer. This Bamboo toilet paper storage basket from brand "Gugxiom" is a simple yet elegant solution. It is an easy to use and handle basket. It is collapsible so can be stored itself if not in use, but extending it to it's full size is as simple as pulling one part of it upwards and then folding four struts into place to secure the unit upright. It is a good size - holds 12 rolls - and is a nice neutral off-white colour that would go well in most Bathrooms I feel. Importantly it has four little "feet" - two at either end that keep the basket off the floor which may be important in the Bathroom especially as floors may get wet which could damage toilet rolls.At the end of the day it is quite a simple item. It offers a solution to a problem you might have. It's nothing fancy, it is a rather plain item but I don't really intend to disparage it as such... My question is over the price tag. The currently listed price of £23.59 (correct at time of writing) seems quite a lot to me for a simple basket designed for such a simple purpose. But hey, at the end of the day how you spend your money is your business. For the record I do find it a relatively attractive and useful basket, but that's easy for me to say as I got it free for review purposes. I'm not convinced I'd pay over £20 for it but each to their own.
