I needed some kind of tool for making nails and staples accessible for removal with a pair of pliers. I didn't really know what to expect from this set, but upon arrival the tools looked fine and seemed to be up for the job. In any case they would beat trying to use a flathead screwdriver for the same thing.I had (and still have) several jobs that I need to undertake. My first patient was a wooden chair from a charity shop where some of the parts had been assembled with nails from a nail gun. I had to destroy some of the wood to get the nails out, but I got the job done in the end. The wood has now been repaired - and some of it was actually damaged to begin with. The chair will be put back together again with mainly screws.For the price these tools are absolutely fine and dandy, and I can't see why more expensive ones would be any better. The handle is just as good as it looks and provides a secure grip on the tool.
