Tongue Drum Songbook Merry Christmas Songs: 50+ Easy carols for kids and adults incl. MP3 / Tab / Sheet / Lyrics

I am not a beginner, but I was looking for easy songs that sounded like the ones I grew up listening to. I did discover that this book was written for both 8 note & 11 note tongue drums after purchase. I do realize that it is very difficult to find music without sharps & flats which is suitable for the tongue drum. I was hoping to find mid range songs even though I have a 15 tone tongue drum. I did find a few songs that I enjoyed playing, but I was disappointed to find that the lyrics & the melody were not on the same page. Rather the lyrics were on the back of another page so lyrics are of no use. There are no page numbers. I do basic sight reading of notes. I wish that the melody & notation matched. The author had to lower the way the songs were played on the tongue drum because some of the melodies had extremely high notes that were too high for any tongue drum to play. Some of the songs sounded nothing like the original. Some songs had too many notes crammed close together to comfortably read. I would have liked some simple chords on some of the songs especially those written for 11 notes as it makes them so much prettier. I also wish that demos of songs were on YouTube rather than on MP3. I am not scanning anything anymore because it is too dangerous.Overall, I was not happy with this book. I am keeping the book & playing the songs that I enjoy as there are so few Christmas books for tongue drums. Here is a list of songs that I thought played well & sounded like the original song: Joy To The World, We Three Kings, O Come O Come Emmanuel, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Christmas Tree, Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, Jingle Bells, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Good King Wenceslas, Deck The Hall, Auld Lang Syne, Angels We Have Heard on High, The First Noel, & God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
