Shipping took more than a month but it did reach me. Box was a bit crushed but the device was fine so I don’t mind. Loving the gameplay.

Battery dies after two weeks

I started my GigaPets Pixie four days ago and I love it, the system is fun, the art is cute, the whole care system is nice and challenging and very different to what I am sued to. Unfortunately, on my fourth day of running the device the low battery sign flashed. When I finally got home I was unable to change the batteries since the screw will NOT come off, it just spins but doesn't get any looser and I have ben at it for a while and I don't know how to get it off without damaging the device... I was having a lot of fun and it has been cut short...

It’s adorable but I’m not planning on using it as it was intended I’m planning on using it as a magical girl item like they use to help them transform but overall it really cute didn’t expect the wings to be made from a soft plastic excepted it to be a hard plastic like the rest of the body but it’s a good thing the wings are soft plastic instead of hard plastic so they won’t get broken off easily

I really wanted to love the pixie. And when it worked, I did find it fun. Unfortunately, my first one kept glitching and resetting on its own multiple times a day. I exchanged it for another thinking maybe I just got a defective unit. The second one ran out of battery after a day. I put in a brand new battery, figuring maybe the one it came with was just low on juice from being in storage or something. It worked great! Then, after 5 days, the battery died again. There is no reason it should've gone through batteries that quick. I returned it and tried a third time. The third one was like the first and glitched and reset on its own twice in less than 24 hours. I was done. If you're lucky enough to get a unit that actually works, great. Otherwise, it's a real pain that there are so many issues with so many of these. Seems like real luck of the draw and a waste of money if you get a defective one (which is apparently not a rare occurrence given my experience).
