As I'm sure many of us do, I wanted to lighten the load in my backpack when out on the bike so had a look into various ways to invisibly carry tools on the bike itself. As I use carbon bars and single lock on grips the bar end mounted tools were not an option, and the tools that fit in the steerer tube are rather expensive nor can you easily transfer them between bikes, so I was intrigued when I saw this offering from Topeak which fits inside hollow crank axles and has all the common size of Hex along with a chain breaker.I'm using it with e13 Helix cranks which have a 24mm inner diameter and it fits perfectly, although rubber bungs are included to fit other sized crank axles. A simple twist of the end cap increases the width of the fitted bung and that allows it to fit snugly in place. It also doesn't rattle at all when fitted, which was an initial concern of mine. On the first ride using it I was on some pretty rough trails and it remained secure in place.Everything feels solid and well made as you would expect from Topeak, and it has pretty much all the tools you would need for trailside adjustment and "light" emergency repairs, and the chain breaker works very well too considering it size. It does lack a 6mm Hex, however there are no 6mm Hex bolts on my bikes so it's not an issue for me personally. I bought it knowing this, so I don't think it warrants a deduction in stars for the review.One small niggle is the wrenches in the multi tool are somewhat difficult to open, but this should get easier with use. You can use the included chain hook to pry the tools out if you're struggling.Anyway, top marks for a great product!

Idea geniale, montato senza sforzo sul movimento centrale sram dub. Qualità degli attrezzi buona (è comunque un kit di soccorso da usare si spera il meno possibile).
