It can be mounted both ways (right or left side access).I mounted it without problem, but not go out riding with it yet.

It’s too tight to get bottle in/out. A full bottle will squirt all over your bike when putting it in cage. I toook it off and do not use this one

I bought this cage for a small frame and it actually mounted higher than a standard bottle cage. The design calls for a flat mount against the frame. If your bolt bosses are proud of the frame, it will not work.
