First thing I did was strip this down and grease everything, because it comes bone-dry of any lubrication from the box.Given it's intended use, I was a bit disappointed to find out that they hadn't bothered with some grease here.Second thing on reassembly was to add some spring washers to all of the fasteners to stop them from working loose and eliminate the slack and wobbling around in the arms.This made lifting my bike up an absolute breeze, totally stable. I used to keep my bike on it's paddock stand when not in use, but this now supports my bike so quickly and easily that it's taken over that task.It lifts up the front of my bike so well that it's made my front paddock stand redundant, taking the front wheel or forks off the bike is now so easy and accessible that it's a real wonder why I hadn't bought one of these before now!
