I ordered this, expecting to use it on my bathroom door, but when it arrived, I immediately saw another use for it. It currently lives in my campervan, hooked onto the over-cab shelf, right next to the sliding door, and contains hats, scarves, gloves, sunglasses, keys, the window cover, a torch, slippers and many other sundry items you might want to grab on your way in or out of the van. What sets this rack apart from other, similar hanging racks is its depth. Most kitchen hanging racks are around 3"-4" deep; while this one is around 6" deep, making it much more versatile.I feel I will be purchasing more of these, as I can see so many uses for it. I will probably install one at the back of the van for tools and accessories, and I am considering another to use as a shoe rack. It offers a lot of storage while not taking up too much space, as the storage is vertical, using otherwise wasted space. Perfect when travelling or for people living in small homes.

A decent over door hanger with six shelves and good depth. It’s designed for the kitchen but in reality of course, it can be used in any number of creative way.The hanger comes well packaged in a sturdy, unmarked box. It requires assembly which is a bit annoying but makes sense. It is easy to put together and hangs seamlessly over any regular door. It seems strong enough to hold a great deal of weightier items, although I’ve kept it light. It is deep, which is excellent, but depending on the shape of the room in which you intend to use it, might come out further from the door than you expect.Overall, a fine item at an okay price.

I am really impressed with this storage rack. The kit consists of a set of backbars, some over door hooks and storage baskets.I used the kit with the over door hooks for an easier install. Setting this up was straightforward, and was assembled in a few minutes. It was easily installed with the over door hooks on the back of the bathroom door, and was filled up quicker than I really wanted to admit to...The storage trays have a good capacity, and make the contents easily accessible.I will say that I was quite lucky with the hooks matching our doors thickness, but if you have thinner doors you may need to take steps to add spacers to support the rack on the door. However, it can also be directly mounted to walls if needed.Overall, I think this is a great looking and sturdy rack for all those sundry items that build up around the bathroom, kitchen or craft room, and I really like it.

This is easy to assemble, with a top bracket that sits over the door, the main rails that slot onto the bracket, and baskets that slot into the rails. There are sticky pads provided to put onto the bracket to protect paintwork, and clear plastic self adhesive pads that are intended to fix to the door and prevent the rails from bouncing forward and back. These have clips on them that the horizontal bars of the rails can slot into. While this item can work, a potential issue is that the bracket is designed to accommodate door thicknesses up to around 50 mm. For a thinner door, there will be play in the top bracket. The bracket will be pushed against the door when closed, pushing the rails some way out from the door, and then the horizontal struts may be too far out to slot into the clear pads as intended. The rails are hinged and can fold, but this may not help satisfactorily. If a door has indented sections as ours does, this is even more problematic. I ended up using a single plastic bracket at the bottom of the rails, plus a stack of silicone pads on the bracket at the top to prevent it from sliding forward and back, and another stack half way down on the rails (as shown in one review image). Note that these pads are not provided with the product, and are items I already had. These accommodate the relatively large distance from the door surface to the rails, preventing it from folding due to the hinges, and dampening any bouncing of the item. With these in place, it works well. It would be a good idea if some kind of self-adhesive adjustable depth spacers were included, or a stack of pads similar to those that I used.Perhaps a little bit pricey, but it's well made overall and with no obvious defects aside from the spacing related aspect.

I'm always on the lookout for ways to save space, so I thought this would be great for the kitchen and good to organise all the smaller bits and pieces.Firstly, I originally planned for this to go in the cupboard pantry, but it doesn't work there as you'll need at least 15 cm space before any shelves in order for the door to close. This would be ok if you have a walk-in pantry, but a cupboard pantry with shelves almost up to the door it wont work for, so Plan B - I thought I'd put it over the kitchen door. Not the best place perhaps, but it's space-saving still. This is where I got a little confused. I'm not sure whether there are two ways of hanging this: over the door or with the heavy duty self adhesive pads with slots which fit the horizontal bars of the upright rails. Or whether its a combination of both - I think it's supposed to be a combination of both for stability, which is fine if you have a completely flat door, but mine has carved arches so it wouldn't sit flat, therefore the only option I had was to hook it over the door alone. That aside, the actual unit itself is quite sturdy. The hooks for the door have a 5.5 cm gap so if you haven't got a thick pantry door kitchen door this may rock around, although there are sticky cushioned pads included, which help to stop it slipping and scratching. The upright frame folds out like an accordion, which avoids having to screw all the parts together, which is good and then you hook the baskets on in various spaces down this frame. There are more spaces than baskets so you do have a bit of leeway if you wanted to allow more height between some of the baskets. The baskets and frame are white powder coated carbon steel, so they're durable and the baskets are 35 cm long x 13 wide x 8 deep and take 10 lbs, (approx. 4.5 kg), each which will hold a decent selection of items.Including the hooks, the whole unit is 124.5 cm tall.Bear mind if you are using the sticky hook pads to stabilise the frame, you will need to attach these as you go along to ensure they will be in the right place. The whole unit is only attached to the door hooks by slotting the upright frame into 2 slots. There's no screws or anything, but there are 2 additional sticky pads on the back of this part and the weight of the unit should keep it in place. So, overall, this is good and not so good in parts, depending on your personal set up. It will give you extra space, but you may be limited where you can put it and it won't be easy to relocate if you use the sticky pads. However, if you've got the right place for it, it will be useful.
