Ideaal dat het niet een reuze grote bak is want er waait altijd wel stof of haar in en met de warmte hebben de dames toch altijd vers gefilterd water dat in het bakje stroomt.

Works great and my cat doesn't try and tip it over. The 2ltr may be better so you aren't filling up as often.

Habe ich für meinen Welpen gekauft, ist wirklich super beim trinken ist die halbe Küche, bei meinen vorherigen Hunden bzw Gasthunden, immer unter Wasser. Das passiert hier def. Nicht.Mein Welpe musst sich aber erst an den niedrigen Wasserstand gewöhnen er dachte da ist nichts mehr drin u ist in den Garten gelaufen da habe ich noch eine normale Wasserschale stehen.Hab ihm aber gezeigt das da wirklich viel Wasser drin ist.Hat er dann super angenommen. Also kann ich nur empfehlen. Werde ich noch für unsere Praxis kaufen da ist Hygiene ja super wichtig. Mein Hund wird als Therapiehund ausgebildet.

I have a height challenged Chihuahua companion. Tried a few automatic water dishes but my dog is too short to drink from such bowls comfortably and wasn't drinking enough. The Torus is great for small dogs and height challenged dogs like Dachshunds. Works on a gravity feed through a carbon filter, so there is no need for power, but you still have to change the water and clean the bowl on a daily basis. What are the advantages of a Torus compared to a bowl of water? Carbon filtered water. Shape of the bowl means that the water is confined to the bowl and isn't being slopped everywhere when my dog drinks from it. You can shut off the flow of water and dump the water from the bowl, travel with it and then open the water reservoir for fresh clear water when you stop - it does not leak. Has a 1 litre capacity so you can leave off changing the water daily BUT you can't ... dog saliva slimes up the water in the dish. Plus in about a year, significant calcium deposits will build up in the bowl no matter how frequently you clean it. After almost two years, the calcium build up will also compromise the dispensing of water from the reservoir until it does not completely refill the bowl anymore - so is not just a cosmetic issue. This is my dog's second Torus. The first one lasted a year and half and is on it's last legs as you can see from the photo - water levels are going down like Lake Mead. When you buy a Torus, you have to be prepared to replace it every couple of years.

It costs more than I'd prefer to spend on a cat bowl, but I'm sure the high price point is because of the patents for an innovative new design.I felt however that this would be a good investment as one of my cats is scared of water fountains and manual bottle drip feeders as they splash or gurgle (or both), and unfortunately he refuses to drink from anything other than a small shallow bowl, which I struggle with constantly refilling with my mobility issues.I haven't seen my cats use this yet as I only received it today (I also still have a regular water bowl down during transition), but I can see the shallow wide bowl being preferable on their whiskers, and easy to drink from.It also fills slowly and quietly, without splashing or gurgling, which was what I was hoping for. I put the bowl next to my timid cat and opened the valve, and I was happy to see he didn't react at all as the water trickled quietly into the bowl! Yay!I'm impressed with the design of this product. It's exactly as I'd hoped, and the replacement carbon filters are easy to purchase via Amazon UK, and are reasonably priced.It's easy to clean with washing up liquid by simply removing the cap and filter, and dunking the whole thing, filling up the reservoir as well as the bowl, washing out, and then rinsing with clean water.It can also be deep cleaned by dunking overnight with baby sterilising solution.Once I'm sure both my cats are happy using it I intend to replace their second water bowl with another of these too. They will make my life so much easier, and hopefully keep both my cats happy too!

I have a very large British Short hair and every cat bowl or contraption out there gets tipped over and floods the floors. I have spent a fortune in bowls. I spotted this and what a brilliant designed bowl it is, it's perfect for my cat as it has a non-slip base so the giant beast cannot drag the bowl as easily as before but the weight of the water adds to this challenge too. I like that you fill the bowl and it slowly tops up the water level as it gets lapped by thirsty jaws - this is convenient in keeping the water fresh and also not worrying in case you forget to top the bowl up with fresh water. I am not sure I like the carbon filters - it seems to seep out some floaty bits. However, the beast hasn't complained, I won't be purchasing more of the filters though. Love this bowl and think I will buy another soon.
