This is probably a great product, but my GPU hangs over the PCIe x1 slot, so I couldn't use it.

I recently purchased the TP-Link AC1200 Wifi Bluetooth 4.2 PCI Express Adapter Because my motherboard does not have integrated Wifi. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say that this adapter has exceeded all my expectations!Installation was straightforward and hassle-free. The package comes with an easy-to-follow instruction manual. Even if you're not tech-savvy, you should have no trouble getting it up and running. I installed the adapter, and my computer immediately recognized it. I then installed the provided drivers, it was ready for use even without the drivers.The performance of the TP-Link AC1200 is top-notch. My WiFi signal has been strong and steady with no discernible drops or lag, even when streaming high-definition content or playing online games. I've also noticed a significant improvement in download and upload speeds compared to my previous setup. The dual-band feature is a real plus, allowing me to switch between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks depending on my needs, especially with wireless VR gaming.The inclusion of Bluetooth 4.2 is a bonus, and it has been just as reliable as the WiFi. I've connected various Bluetooth devices, such as headphones and speakers, and the connection has been rock solid. The range is also quite impressive.The build quality of the adapter is solid and the low-profile bracket that came with it was a nice touch. It fits perfectly into my compact PC case. Heat generation hasn't been an issue either, even during extended periods of heavy data transfer.The Adapter truly stands out for its exceptional performance, easy installation, and the convenience of having both WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities in a single device. The price point is also very reasonable for the quality and features it offers.

I would think this is very value-for-money. It has good speed and even has Bluetooth (which was super useful as my desktop didn't have it)

I have been using a powerline adapter to connect my pc via Ethernet cable to my router because my pc did not come with wifi. After recently upgrading my internet connection I realised I was only able to get half the download speed with the powerline adapters so I decided to try this pci-e wifi adapter. I was sceptical after reading a negative review about poor 5ghz reception. Thankfully this does not appear to be an issue for me. With this adapter I now max out my internet speed which is great.Installation is quite simple and if you’ve ever opened your pc and installed a video card or a hard drive then you should have no trouble doing the install yourself. You just need a spare PCI-e port. A couple of things to note - it comes with a cable that connect to the card then to motherboard but it’s only required if you want to use the Bluetooth function. I did not connect it. It comes with a cd with drivers but I think these are for the Bluetooth component as I didn’t use the cd and the wifi card worked straight away. If you want the card to use the 5GHz band all the time then you need to go into control panel, find the network card under Network Adapters, right click and go into Properties/Adanced for the adapter then on the first property change the value to '1. 5GHz 802.11a' then scroll down to Preferred Band and change from '1. No preference' to '3. Prefer 5Ghz band'. This ensures you get a 5Ghz connection all the time (providing your router supports 5Ghz). Don't change either of these options if your router doesn’t support 5Ghz.Also, some of the other pci-e wifi cards had large heat sinks on them which would have been very close to my video card or maybe not even fit but this one is very compact. Overall I would recommended this for someone looking to add wifi to their PC.
