Het product drie dagen gebruikt, en in dagen is het zendertje 3 keer los geraakt en blijven liggen in het bos en weiland. Op totaal willekeurige locaties, met weinig omliggende objecten.

Ik really happy with this tracker. The new band gets loose easier then the previous type. My cat lost it and it was replaced instantly! 658705 Polly responded to my question and resolved the problem very well. When lost, my cat seems to rub onto things, I can find it easily. De tracker van tractive is handig, niet al te groot en gaat meerdere dagen mee op 1 batterijlading. Het voornaamste voordeel aan deze tracker is de software. Je kan precies zien waar je kat of hond is door Live tracking in the schakelen. Ook kan je ervoor kiezen om de batterij langer mee te laten gaan om de locatie van je huisdier alleen in een bepaald interval weer te geven. De beste tracker die wij tot nu geprobeerd hebben! Zeker veel beter dan alle goedkope alternatieven.

Ik had eerst een tracker van een ander merk, met 2 jaar gratis abonnement, maar zonder live tracking. Zo goed als waardeloos als de kat zoek was.Nu met de optie live tracking vind ik mijn kat gemakkelijk terug. Aanrader !! Top !!Uiterst tevreden !

Werkt goed. Ben mijn kat nog niet kwijtgeraakt.Alleen jammer dat je voor veel functies premium nodig hebt. Ook moeilijk om het abonnement per maand te vinden.

Do not buy this if you live in Australia. It does not work. It operates on the obsolete 2G network. I had read previous reviews but thought that the 'Newest model' meant this had been updated. It hasn't.Customer service were very helpful and apologetic and immediately refunded my subscription (and hopefully will refund the cost of the tracker). However, I can see this has been a problem for almost a year.I can't speak to the functionality of this tracker. It looks like it could be quite good and straightforward to use. Unfortunately I'll never find out. The one star review is solely based on the fact that they continue to sell a product to Australia that simply does not work here.

I've been looking for a GPS cat tracker for a while and bought this model on recommendation from a colleague.It arrived very quickly and was very simple to set up and register. Buyers should be aware, however, that the advertised subscription price, whilst accurate, must be purchased in block periods of 1, 2 or 5 years with payment up front. We went for 1 year of the premium rate as we didnt want to commit too heavily and then find our cat didn't like wearing it.The tracker unit itself is small but not tiny, it still looks quite large on a cat and I can see why Tractive only recommend it for cats over 4kg - Our 5.5kg male doesn't seem bothered by it but I certainly wouldn't put it on my smaller female cat. Despite the size, the unit is fairly light and easy to charge with the supplied USB lead (we're finding that we get 4-5 days of use per charge). Our cat DID manage to detach the tracker from the collar clip twice in the first three days but, one quick email to Tractive's customer support dept later and they despatched us a replacement collar with integrated clip, plus a spare clip to use on any collar, completely free of charge. Very impressive.Tracking is achieved via a mobile app (you can also access it via a web page, but the app offers more functionality) which is best described as 'Garmin Connect for cats'! You can see a GPS trace of where your cat has been (or, indeed, is right now) and also heat maps of commonly visited areas, this is fully customisable by whichever time period you choose. You can also input your cat's measurements and weight to see a daily calorie burn count and even a local leaderboard of active minutes/distance covered, with the option to befriend owners of fellow Tractive-equipped cats!Additonally, you can upload photos of your cat, together with their chip ID, whether they've been spayed/nueutered or not, plus your contact details.All in all, this seems to be a good quality product with excellent support. It isn't the cheapest but I guess the adage of 'you get what you pay for' applies here. If I could improve one thing, it would be a reduction in size of the tracker unit by at least half. I imagine this will come over time and will be interested in upgrading when it does.

La verdad es que estoy muy gratamente sorprendido con este producto. Tengo dos, uno para mi gato y otro para mi perro.En este caso hablaré de la versión del gato. Lo compramos después de tener el del perro por tener ya cierta experiencia con el otro y quedar encantados con el producto. Decidimos comprarlo porque nuestro gato a veces desaparecía y nos quedábamos con la incertidumbre y el miedo hasta que reaparecía.En la caja vienen las dos mitades de la pastilla del producto (batería por un lado y el gps por otro), un cargador USB (sin adaptador para corriente), un collar de cuero con soporte incluido y un soporte en forma de clip.Tenía bastantes dudas con el producto al principio. Temía que no fuera muy preciso, y que se cayera con facilidad.Nada más lejos de la realidad. En dos ocasiones ya, hemos encontrado gracias a la aplicación y su función LIVE a nuestro gato, a varias manzanas de distancia. Al activar esta función, la aplicación sincroniza en tiempo real la ubicación del sensor, y permite activar luz fija y sonido (aparte de estar de por sí, una vez activado el modo live, la luz parpadeando). El margen de error es francamente mínimo, creo que funciona mediante conexión 4G. La aplicación es intuitiva y fácil de configurar.Por otro lado, es cierto que la batería no es muy duradera. Lo que solemos hacer para alargar su uso es apagar el dispositivo cuando sabemos que estará en casa.El clip se adapta de forma fiable a los collares de gatos, por mucho que pudiera parecer que no.Y, aunque pudiera parecer un poco grande y pesado, lo cierto es que tampoco es incómodo.Sugiero que se adquiera también una funda, pues el nuestro, por su uso y porque nuestro gato lo puede arañar con distintas superficies, después del primer uso ya tenía algunos arañazos.En definitiva, un gran producto en el que pagas por la tranquilidad de tener localizada a tu mascota, con funciones muy útiles como la valla virtual. Mejoraría mucho si fuera más ligero y pequeño y la batería durase más. Pero es una gran opción a tener en cuenta. Mención aparte al soporte al cliente de su página web, muy implicados y resolutivos.

I've spent countless dollars trying various trackers for my cat. Thank God Tractive finally made it to US soil! This is the best, most reliable tracker ever. Completely worth the money. You do not have to subscribe to a specific carrier service to activate your tracker, subscription is right through Tractive. Easy to use, reliable.

Ero scettico in merito alle dimensioni del localizzatore GPS Tractive date le dimensioni del mio gatto, invece mi sono dovuto ricredere.Non ho utilizzato il collarino fornito in dotazione (comunque molto solido e robusto), ma una pettorina che mi ha permesso di posizionare il localizzatore GPS sulla groppa del gatto che ha dimostrato di non patire fastidi.La qualità del localizzatore è ottima: è robusto, la batteria dura un paio di giorni pieni (la notte lo spengo) e anche si sporca con la terra è facilmente pulibile con un panno umido.L'app è molto intuitiva e funziona bene anche la localizzazione, anche se qualche volta non è rapidissima nel live tracking. Per le mie esigenze è un prodotto davvero buono, che mi sento di consigliare a chi tiene sempre i gatti in casa e poi magari passa qualche settimana fuori casa e vuole stare sicuro che il gatto rimanga sempre nei paraggi.PS: molto consigliato il recinto virtuale!!
