I actually bought these just because I needed the replacement tool, as I got to used bike that had these installed, it was very hard online to find at 5 sided hex tool like this, so I figured it had to have been this company's skewers installed in my used bike. I live in a city and a lot of people swear by pinhead brand skewers but i hate the tool those come with and they are overpriced. sure, if you have vice grips and you don't mind just growing one side of the skewers you can get them off somewhat easily, but if you're trying to do things properly or if you're just trying to add slightly more protection to your bikes these are great, I'm surprised you don't hear about the more, I do wish the company offered a better tool with more leverage but it's already miles ahead of the pinhead brand

Way more secure than quick release and even more secure than bolt-on wheels. Highly recommended.
