This is a great bag for travel and for multiple occasions! I recently used it for a trip to Mexico that included a formal wedding, hiking, and travel to small towns and Mexico City. I love the strap and the way you can secure the zipper too.

Does not give me shoulder pain even when I have a water bottle attached to the bag. Enough room to carry a small umbrella and I like the inside zipper pocket.

I ordered this to use as a pocketbook/small bag while travelling in the Mediterranean. We had heard warnings about pickpockets in some cities, so I wanted a sure way to keep things secure while looking somewhat stylish. This bag is definitely more fashionable thank most in this price range. I thought it was a little pricey, but looked better than most. It has an inside zip pocket with RFID security where I kept my cash and cards. There is an inner hook that has a flashlight that you can clip important things to. The outside zipper clips onto a secure anchor point, and the strap has a mulit-step process to be able to undo it. I wore this as a crossbody bag everywhere out and about on the trip, and my phone and valuables, etc were secure. It can fit a phone, a smaller wallet, some pads/tampons, a fan, and a few other things if need be. (At times, I had two phones in there with all the other things). Don't look any further, this is worth it!
