I've been wearing pocket watches since long before Peaky ever went Blind. I've never actually seen the show, but since it appeared, vintage watch chains have become really expensive.This chain is affordable but doesn't look cheap, and is well-made and strong enough for daily use. The 'lobster clips' on the ends are big enough for a decent-sized watch and are not as fiddly as the traditional type if you need to take the watch off the chain. The T-bar is the right size to fit a waistcoat buttonhole and the chain is long enough to be able to read the watch easily without having yards of it hanging down or stuffed in your waistcoat pocket.This is a Single Albert chain, which I think is suitable for most occasions without looking like you are dressing up. A Double Albert is too much, even by my standards.
