As with all Trend tools, this is of good quality at a reasonable price that actually represents good value as the tool is well made and works beautifully. There are three guide bearings of different diameters allowing three different rebate widths. It cuts smoothly, leaving the workpiece finished and without the need to sand or clean up the joints in any way. For internal rebates an additional corner cutter will help to finish the job perfectly. As it is this is a professionally finished tool that does a professional job.

This is a good quality product at a reasonable price. It is being used to rebate guitar bodies ready for binding and gives an excellent finish.Bearings are used to achieve the rebate depth, only 3 are supplied in the kit and not all are suitable for my use. Very few additional diameters are available (from any source) and they are not the diameters I really need. To achieve all the depths I need I have had to make "sleeves" to fit a set of bearings I purchased to give a comprehensive set. This has obviously increased the cost but it has been worth it.I would recommend the Trend Rebate Set but check that the bearings in the kit and others that are available will give the rebate depths you require.
