works with my tapo cameras but the leds on it are insanely bright.

I like TRENDNet products. Generally they are reasonably priced and just work. I'm using this to power an outside bird nest box. Plug one network cable between the router and the injector, and then I have a 6m long ethernet cable going through the wall to outside plugged into what was a TRENDNet IP security camera, which I've retrofitted into a home made bird box.I've subsequently added an extension adaptor to move the box another 4m further away, and the power and quality of signal is unaffected.

Cumple sin problemas con lo previsto. Comprado para alimentar dos switches Trendnet TPE-P521ES (passthrough, el primero de ellos alimentando al segundo), funcionó todo a la primera. Lleva poco tiempo funcionando, pero a día de hoy me parece una buena opción calidad/precio.

I bought a bunch of 12V POE splitters / regulators to find good 24W Gigabit ones.Most of them fell on their face - did not give anywhere close to 24W output.Trendnet is listed as 1.5A (18W), so I did not expect it to be worthwhile and I bought it only after all other units with posted 24W capability fell short. But surprisingly, it kept output flowing with 6 Ohm load at 11.8V (23.2W).It does cut off with 4.8 Ohm load (expected 12.5A at 12V), so there is output protection. It might be slightly variable from unit to unit, so my results may not be repeatable.It is one of the only two Gigabit products that deliver 24W that I found on Amazon. Another one is POE-SPLT-4812G (B07P8VTZV9) and sells for above $66, ouch!For the Trendnet TPE-104GS unit that I received:I tried it with 6 Ohm load and the voltage stays at 11.8V, within expected range.For the price, it is a cheapest power supply that delivers 24W, but don't expect 30W.The unit is well ventilated and at 24W load it is not getting very hot. If you intend to use it with sustained high loads, keep it well ventilated.I suspect that Trendnet Engineering has derating principles and does not label the product aggressively, so 24W may be not achievable from all units, but stated 18W are guaranteed by good design margins.
