This was so useful on my travels. It gave me that extra level of security when I was in crowded places which meant I never fell victim to any pick pockets. It was very discreet and couldn't really be seen under my clothes. Felt comfortable, never caused me any irritation or anything. I mainly used it for my passport, tickets and money - the compartment is quite wide so I didn't often have to fold things which I placed inside. The zip is smooth and and material is tough so after 4 months of constant travelling through different climates it's still going strong. It was especially handy because I could easily reach any documents/money I needed without having to set my big backpack down. My waist is 29'-30' and it just about went down to my size. No real negatives unless you have a really thin waist or plan on submerging it in mud in which case a darker colour might be more suitable. Worth it for the additional level of security in my opinion.
