A surprisingly good entry level concertina, but I wouldn't pay over $300 for it. Tuning was good for a hybrid concertina. Bellows was quite good. Reeds (accordion reeds hence the use of the term hybrid) are a bit shy and some notes required significant air flow to sound. Button action left a lot to be desired, very inconsistent. Most would open the pad (for air flow) above the faceplate, others at the faceplate, but f/g on right hand side had to be pushed below the faceplate and would sometimes not work at all getting into a bind.It's a large instrument for a c/g concertina more similar to the size of a baritone concertina.Playing basic chords was difficult and costly air wise. Adding in the amount of air movement required I rarely used chords on the Trinity.I would not call it a particularly responsive concertina.The worst thing for me were the hand straps. At their largest opening the rivet on the straps pushed in just below the pinky/little finger joint and the buckle pushed in just below the joint for the index/first fingers. My fingers would start tingling and going to sleep from the pressure.I wear a size large glove in the United States and just fit into a size medium compression glove (I wear these at night after practicing with my english concertina).If you have smaller hands and have never held a concertina in your life it is a good instrument to get some initial impressions with.If you really take to practicing and playing an anglo concertina you will rapidly outgrow this instrument.Squeeze On!

My second concertina after my first from a different seller came broken, compared to that, this one actually works and sounds very nice. I may upgrade in the future, but for now this will do ke well

It wasn't the product advertised. The keys were random, and the thumb straps instead of hand straps didn't lend themselves to playing.

Ive never played a concertina before and I got this one to learn and experiment. It’s been wonderful for that. Learning things rapidly. The instrument looks nice and as far as I know plays fine.The only exception is the low G draw reed doesn’t sound. Ive tried really pulling on that thing and nothing. That’s frustrating as on a C/G box that note is pretty foundational. So I’m learning with a workaround (the nice thing about concertinas is you have options) but it’s not the same octave and I would like it to be.
