At the very least, it saved me from a traumatic brain injury. I was going downhill on an electric skateboard when the brakes failed. I was going far too fast by the time I realized what was happening, and I tried to run it out. I made it about 3 or 4 steps before I went down. Hard. I put my hands out to facilitate a roll, and I did roll, while also BOUNCING my head on the pavement 3 times. Right side (and broke my collarbone with that first hit), backside, left side.I ended up with a broken left thumb, a VERY broken right collarbone, road rash on both shoulders and both hips, and ZERO injuries to my head or brain. The helmet's skin also has severe road rash from all 3 hits.I am certain this helmet saved me from a TBI, and may have saved my life.WEAR A FRIGGIN HELMET, PEOPLE! This one looks pretty sleek, not dorky like a bike helmet, and the value of NOT having a TBI is worth having a sweaty head. Wear pads, too! My elbows and knees were fine because I had pads on. I also had "slide gloves" on my hands, but they're not designed for hard hits to the ground, so I got a broken thumb, BUT no road rash on my hands or fingers.

I love the fit-- i use one xs band and one s, and it fits perfectly.I haven't fallen on my head thank God, so I can't comment on that.Appearance wise it looks good! I really like the matte dark blue and I look forward to wearing it.

Good fit

I love this helmet. Its snug, so it doesn't wobble or shift while riding, and it has the sweat pads on the inside, which is awesome! I'm a big guy, so I sweat easily, when I borrowed my friends helmet, I had to keep rubbing the sweat out of my face, this one catches all of that while you're using it. Yes, its a bit wet and kind of cold while its absorbed sweat, but I prefer that over getting that sweat in my eyes. Also this helmet is certified, so it still keeps the protection needed when you hit your head. The only bit I'm not too fond of is the inside pad at the top-center of the head is thin, so at first, its a bit hard at the top of the head, but you get used to it and that pad is still an absorbing pad. This purchase also comes with a small and large pad set, so you can mix and match for what's most comfortable for you. I like the snugness on the sides, but the smaller ones for the forehead. Highly recommend this for kids and adults!
