This is just an initial review of the shipping and appearance of the tent peg hammer. It does not include usage.Shipping:Delivered 3 days after I ordered it, so I am very pleased with the fast shipping.It came with a storage/carrying bag which is a very big bonus!Appearance:The handle is made out of aluminum and the head and hook are steel (low grade). The weight is just right, not so heavy and not so light either. The handle has powder coating or maybe spray painted. Paint has a lot of possibilities to get scratched off. Actually, it arrived with few scratches already as seen in the pictures. The handle is also a bit slippery on the hand, so I would recommend wrapping the lanyard on your hand when using it or maybe wear rubber gloves for added grip.What I did is I wrapped the handle with paracord to make it slightly bigger and for me to have a better grip. Also to act a shock absorber since it's all made of metal.The hook and the head are attached with just metal pins, they are not welded to the handle. I'm guessing that over time and with heavy usage, they have the tendency to come loose therefore the head and hook will wobble or worst come off the handle.Will be putting this hammer to the test in the next few days to put 10+ tent pegs about 10" long, when we go camping and will update this review!So far I am satisfied!Update (31 Aug. 2020)Last week we went camping and I put up 2 tents using the hammer. I used 12" tent pegs and there were about 20pcs and it performed as expected. The ground where we set up the tents is stoney and hard. There were times that I hit large rocks under the ground but it was not a problem to sink the pegs using it.

My 5yo daughter uses this to drive/pull the tent stakes. Lightweight, and the bright color makes it easy to spot at the campsite.

Spitzenhammer, ideale Größe und Gewicht zum Campieren. Ist immer dabei und ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Dass er auch noch gut ausschaut, sei auch erwähnt!

Se ve bien construido, el color del mango es muy vivo y tiene una cierta textura para sujetarlo mejor (aunque va bien la correa de seguiridad que incluye, el brillante acabado azul no es el mas antideslizante que uno pueda imaginar!!!) En poco peso llevas tres elementos imprescindibles para la acampada, y va dentro de una bolsa de cordura muy robusta, donde se puede meter tambien la bolsa de piquetas. Sin haberlo usado no le veo ningun "pero" importante, lo unico que la cabeza parece ir pintada e imagino que con los golpes el metal quedara expuesto y tal vez se oxide, pero eso es jugar a adivinar. Si sucediese ya editaria la opinion, pero de momento me ha parecido perfecto en todo!!!
