I read the reviews and was doubtful, but I needed something to keep our dogs paw dry after an operation when he went outside into the mud bath of a garden after all the rain. I was glad I went a size bigger and I used a poo bag first so the silicone sock slid on and off easily and didn’t pull the bandage. The Velcro straps did the job and it stayed on with no trouble as he hobbled around the garden. We cut it down slightly first. His bandages and paw stayed dry, not sure how long it would last but as long as it’s until the stitches are removed it works for me. Would definitely buy again if need.

I don't see how it is possible to see the fit on this without receiving the item. I ordered this for a dog's paw injury, but it did not fit (too small). I had not clocked that this item is NOT RETURNABLE, so I have wasted my money. Virtually everything on Amazon is possible to return, so I was expecting this to be the case here. I now have a useless item that will, with regret, be going to landfill.

Die Silikonsocke ist hervorragend dazu geeignet Pfotenverbände trocken zu halten.Material stinkt nicht und kann auf die benötigte Länge gekürzt werden.Was auffällt, sind die wirklich erstklassigen Klettriemen!Damit die Socke nicht herunterrutscht, habe ich oberhalb vom Handgelenk den ersten Klettriemen angelegt, den Rand umgeschlagen und den zweiten Klettriemen dann unterhalb des ersten Riemens angelegt.Wenn der Pfotenverband gut sitzt, geht die Socke auch nicht verlustig.Was natürlich nicht funktioniert, ist mit dem Silikonstrumpf spazieren zu gehen. Auf Asphalt geht die Socke recht schnell kaputt, obwohl sie doch erstaunlich robust ist.Wer seinen Hund mit Pfotenverband Gassi führen will, sollte vielleicht auf einen wasserdichten Schutzschuh umsteigen.Für den Garten ist die Socke hervorragend.
