This thing is NOT, I repeat, not large. In fact, it's one of my very smallest scoops, BUT - it does do the best job of any of my 15 litter scoops at picking up the VERY TINIEST clumps after I've gone through the litter with three other scoops - the first a very solid metal one that scrapes the wet clumps stuck to the bottom, then a fast sifter that litter falls through quickly to get the hard poo, then a fairly fine fast sifter to get smaller pieces, and then less often I use this Trixie scoop to slowly strain out all the SMALLEST pieces of litter that are clumped together. The very tiny holes in this scoop will sift out just a few pieces of litter that are stuck together - but because this is so small, I have to fill the scoop about 20 times to go through all the litter in the box.
