Having had a recent mouse problem, I panic-purchased several different types of mouse traps. After feeling guilty about the killer-type traps (literally Deathtraps!) I disposed of them and stuck to humane traps. And this was the best of the ones I used.This is similar in design and function as but costs a little more. The slightly higher price is justified though as this is made from thicker plastic and feels more rugged. The others are slightly flimsy and although both do the job, I trust this more (the cheaper traps failed to trigger one time) and the method for baiting and releasing is much easier with this trap.The green tab at the back of the trap is for a secure but removable cover, once you slide this this up you can bait the trap and the same cover can be removed for releasing the mouse. To set the trap you simply pull out the larger green tab at the front and raise the 'trap door'. The door is held in place by a lip of plastic wedged ontop of a mechanism, this mechanism is activated by pressure - so when a mouse wanders in and goes to the bait, the trap door descend and the mouse remains inside.This is tinted so that the mouse feels quite relaxed inside, but you can easily see inside to see what you've caught - you'll also know because the green tab at the front will be raised to indicate that the trapdoor is closed. If you accidentally trigger the trap by knocking it, it's easy to reset. And once you have caught a mouse - you can safely pick up the trap and transport it without the critter escaping.In a nutshell: An elegant solution which works well. This can be re-used and should last for years, for those who are a little jittery around mice - this feel solid and the release is easy. It's cost a smidgen more than a similar trap, but the quality is better and the door at the back for baiting/release is much better. Oh - any my recommendation for bait? Milk Chocolate Hob-Nobs.

Best trap for small mice, however mice destroy plastic quickly.

Väldigt liten i storlek, jämfört med liknande jag köpt tidigare och hittills har jag inte fångat någon mus trots att de springer runt i det rummet :( Laddat den med mat som fungerat tidigare

Prodotto ottimo! sopratutto per chi come me non vuole fare del male agli animali. però state attenti! non dovete assolutamente toccare la trappola, altrimenti perderà di efficacia!✅ PRO:-Entrata facile per il topino: Il design agevola l'ingresso senza difficoltà.-Riutilizzabile dopo il lavaggio: Struttura durevole e lavabile per un impiego continuo.-Sicuro per il topino: dopo l'utilizzo il topino è rimasto in vita❌ CONTRO:- Aprire la trappola con il topino dentro non è facile: l'apertura è un po' dura e costringe ad essere vicini alla trappola poteva essere fatta meglio, ad esempio con un estensione della porticina di apertura per farlo un po' a distanza. cosi da non rischiare di venire morsi- Dimensioni limitate, non adatto a topi più grandi: Adatto solo per topi di dimensioni ridotte.- Poca visibilità: a causa del vetro scuro, non sono riuscito bene a capire se il topo fosse dentro alla trappola o meno, in più se vivete in un ambiente umido, potreste riscontrare problemi di condensa.💡 CONSIGLI:- Buttalo dopo l'uso per motivi igienici: Anche se è lavabile, non lo consiglio per un lungo utilizzo a causa di questioni igieniche.- Evita di toccarlo per garantire efficacia contro topi sensibili agli odori umani: Il contatto umano può ridurre l'attrattiva per i topi. molte trappole compresa questa perdono efficacia se toccate.- Usa il cioccolato: i topi sono ghiotti di cioccolata, funziona anche meglio che il formaggio. ma attenti! anche il cioccolato va maneggiato con i guanti.
