Trixie 61821 Grasbal met klem, ø 6 cm, Rietenkleur

I was shocked to discover a cracked round plastic bell that was dropped out from the inside of this grass ball. There is a bell inside the grass ball which is made of thin easily cracked plastic, and in within the thin round-shaped plastic there’s even a small metal ball, forming the bell (see photos). My 2 bunnies have chewed quite a bit on the grass ball, the plastic bell cracked (which I saw on the floor), but I couldn’t find the cracked portions, I really hope my bunnies didn’t swallow any of the sharp cracked parts. I immediately look up online about this product to find out if it contained any other components which my bunnies may have swallowed. Only then I saw the review from a German customer dated Sep 17, 2020 that he/she had discovered the same thing as well. Thanks to that customer for posting the photos because from the photos there’s this small metal ball that I did not see or find anywhere in my bunnies play pen where they had this “chew toy”. It’s put me in worries for a week on whether my bunnies are going to be ok... until I finally found the metal ball by the corner of the play pen. Indeed, this "toy" has the potential to kill the pet.

Na het in korte tijd kapot bijten van de grasbal zag ik stukjes hard gekleurd plastic liggen en bleek kapot gebeten en een belletje over was.Tot mijn vreselijke schrik heb ik dit weggegooid en daarna nog een nieuwe open gemaakt maar belletje beter diep verstopt in grasbal gevonden maar voor ze de konijnen hem gevaar gaven hebben ermee gestoeid en gespeeld en voor ze deze hadden ontdekt eruit verwijderd 😓

Gekauft habe ich den Trixie Grasball für einen Preis von je 2,29€.Bei uns werden die Grasbälle für die Kanarienvögel zur beschäftigung genutzt und kamen direkt super an! Um meine Kanarienhennen von ständigen Brüten abzuhalten oder einfach nur als Beschäftigung zum picken ist der Ball ideal! Ball in den Käfig gehangen und gleich ging es los, eins nach dem anderen wurden die Heufäden rausgezogen.Genau richtig, damit auch Vögel ihren Spaß an dem Ball bekommen.Die 6cm Durchmesser sind gut für kleinere Heimtiere, Kleintiere und Vögel geeignet.Der Preis ist in Ordnung, nicht total günstig aber auch nicht überteuert.

These are quite small, great for guinea pigs and also bunnys that like to throw, as they can easily get their teeth around it!! Bunnies will spend hours throwing them around and then eating them when they have had enough. A good source of hay
