Trixie Houten huis voor hamsters, beige, 15 x 12 x 15 cm

I originally ordered the guinea pig sized version of this for our Hamster's cage, but it was absolutely massive and didn't fit, so bought this Hamster sized one, which fitted in nicely. It is approximately 6" square all round and the door is plenty big enough for even our large Syrian. However, his cage came with a little plastic pod house attached to a platform and he just ignored this house, preferring the pod. But the pod kept popping off its platform and didn't have much ventilation, so I was very pleased when I accidentally broke the ladder to the platform and had a reason to bin the whole platform, ladder and pod. So then decided to put the large guinea pig sized house in as there was room for it now - to provide a flat roof platform and a big underground cave for our hamster. It was a hit. Because it was big enough for him to have a nest and a few corners for hoards. So - if you have an empty cage, I can recommend getting the bigger guinea pig version for a hamster - it provides a platform as well as a house. The door is very large on the guinea pig on and I put a bendy stick archway in front of it to make it darker inside and to provide a 'tunnel' into it. I thought our Hamster might be a bit stressed at finding his old pod house and platform had disappeared, but he immediately went into the tunnel and guinea pig sized one and had a whale of a time in there crashing about and setting it up like home. But - if you just want a little house for your hamster and it is all you have space for then this hamster sized one is good and I am sure a Hamster would like it and use it providing there are no other house options to choose from! I like these because they have no nails and a flat roof - good for putting a food bowl on top.

La casita es muy mona y está bien hecha, es amplia asi que es perfecta para un hamster sirio de tamaño medio pero para ruso creo que también quedaría perfecta. Tiene dos puertas. El techo no se puede levantar.
