I wanted a bag that looks good for everyday use, is clearly for a man (or unisex at least!) and big enough to fit in a towel and a few other small bits and pieces, as I primarily will use it for gym trips. When it arrived, I actually almost sent it back - it seemed way too small for what I wanted. The expandable section doesn't look much but if you unzip the zip at the bottom of the bag, you can actually cram in more than you'd think.I can get a medium sized towel, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt, underwear, deodorant spray can, shower gel, moisturizer bottle and still have room for small items such as phone and wallet. It's tightly packed but it does the job and doesn't feel heavy - the bag sits perfectly on my hip without pulling down on the shoulder, so I get no pain like I have done with other bag straps.If you are wanting to carry A4 notepads, this bag is not tall or wide enough to do so - although if you leave the main section unzipped, the fold-over flap will keep anything which pops over the top of the zipper covered from the elements. So you can cram more into the bag if you don't mind it being partially exposed at the sides and the flap not secured against the velcro.Design wise, this bag is the perfect canvas bag - it looks and feels quality through and through and is stylish in an under-stated way. It's not really meant to store anything large like a laptop or a pair of shoes but give it a try before sending it back - you might be surprised by what you can get inside!

I love my new bag! It's not girly yet not masculine. Perfect for my everyday needs, fits all I want into it without looking bulky. I've got my rather large purse, slimline diary, asthma inhaler, phone, lip salve, tissues, travel pack wipes, antacids, folding shopping bags x 2, keys, glasses in hard case yet there is still plenty room to add other things when required. Managed to easily fit a small bottle milk in there yesterday, on way to work! Highly recommend.

I spent ages trying to find a bag for my recent holidays and this was exactly what I needed. We were travelling lots on our holiday and I wanted a bag that I could put in everything I needed for during flights, transfers etc. The main compartment was ideal for travel documents, I wanted to keep them separate from everything else. The other compartments were plenty big enough for my DS, camera, MP3 player etc and I kept my purse and phone in the pocket on the inside so it was nearest to me for safety. With everything in it was pretty full and to be fair the expander bit didn't add much more space. If your wanting to put IPADs etc in then you will probably need something a bit bigger but this was ideal for me. The strap is also nice and long, being a big girl I wanted it to look and feel ok when using it acros the body. Practical and looks good, one to recommend!

Well made, quality materials and thoughtful design. Secure, zipped, internal pockets, ideal for wallets etc. Front flap is Velcro secured which I find more positive than magnetic catches. Price is lower than similar products in high street stores.

I bought this bag to keep my stuff safe on holiday as it has two roomy zipped compartments & a flap covering.I used it as carry on bag during a flight & it held everything I required including passport, boading card,purse & book.The strap went comfortably across my chest & I didn't feel any strain in my back/neck despite stuffing it full during sightseeing trips. A really good buy.
