Supermarket peanut butter has aroung 600 kcal per 100g and this powder has under 400 kcal making it perfect for someone who wants to lose weight or track their fat consumption. Also when mixed with water you get the same P&B texture.

Great way to get the benefits of peanut butter without the fat associated with it. I mix it into my porridge in the morning which of course gives it a peanut butter flavour and because of that I don't need to add any sugar. Taste is pretty good in this way although to be honest when you first mix it in there is a hint of toasted nut bordering on burned. I guess this is because there must be heat used in the drying out process.Either way, after a few seconds in the porridge that hint goes away and you get a high protein breakfast without some of the less good things associated with normal but spreads such as the high oil content.You can mix this into water or milk but to be honest this never appealed. At all. I suspect it would go well with some Asian foods that use nuts in the recipe as long as the drying out effect is catered for.Overall a pretty good way to improve breakfast in my opinion.

Lekker warm of koud, mengen met water of melk, 2 grote koffielepels voor 1 tas. Of toevoegen aan een shake, helft van het shakepoeder vervangen door dit, dan heeft de shake nog minder calorieën.

Al mezclar el polvo con agua se consigue una textura y un sabor bastante parecidos a la mantequilla de cacahuete original, pero con unos valores nutricionales mucho más convenientes para personas que busquen reducir las grasas y las calorías (2 cucharaditas de polvo = 12 g: 50kcal, G 1.5g, P 5g, C 4g). Lo he probado en tostada y como topping en las gachas de avena, también se puede añadir a batidos o smoothies. El sabor me parece muy conseguido y la textura también, aparte de que se puede añadir más o menos agua para obtener la textura deseada.
