Sie halten bei unserer Fahrweise.---ganzjährig, außer Schnee und Glatteis bei jedem Wetter,---eher unregelmäßige Pflege---je etwa 5000-7000km im Jahretwa ein Jahr, dann werden sie gewechselt.Sie halten länger als andere Blätter, die ich probiert habe, so daß ich bei diesem Modell bleiben werde.

Well worth the weight penalty over aluminium in return for a much longer life. I've just bought my second one, from Amazon (the first was from elsewhere). The first one lasted 4½ years and 9500 miles (15,200 km), whereas one winter is enough to destroy an aluminium one, cycling on an all-weather Sustrans cycle track (lots of grit and muck in the wet). I use another bike in dry weather, so this one has seen 9500 miles of mostly wet British weather. At 174g it's almost exactly twice the weight of an equivalent Shimano 44T 104mm BCD Deore LX ring. Contrary to the description, it is definitely an outer ring, not an inner. It comes fitted with the chain-catching pin that you'd only get on an outer ring, and the Truvativ logo facing outwards. The old steel one didn't rust.
