Wanted a smaller and lighter snowshoe for walking on groomed and packed trails. Also wanted something that was quick to put on and take off. I pretty much always walk with summer hikers. My only thing I didn’t care for was my toe bed was a bit uncomfortable when wearing my Keen fabric hikers due to the flex. When wearing my heavier leather hikers, they wore super. Also, I wish I had realized there were several models in this line. Might have spent a few dollars more for the higher end bindings (only because they sound even easier to put on and take off). I did try them in deeper unpacked snow and you definitely sink. Still think they would be great with a few inches of fresh snow. Also, they feel more like not wearing snowshoes compared to a more conventional aluminum frame type.

I love these snowshoes because they are lightweight and so easy to put on. I have used them in moderate and very cold (0 F) and found that they perform well in both cases. I chose to buy a size smaller than my weight, as I typically follow established trails that are already broken. I would definitely recommend them and buy again!
