I bought this Samovar as a ‘back-up’ in case we had a power outage due to Covid. It can warm my room (venting outside), it can heat me plenty if water for coffee and washing and it can heat a meal as a ‘stove’ if need be. I love this unit and have since bought another for a friend. As to quality - I bought a cheaper one first but the quality of the metal and manufacture was poor. This is a Much better product. Better quality all round. I recommend this buy!!

Construction and presentation are very good. Worked straight out of the box. Using it with hardwood pellets, we had to make a spark arrester (a bylaw required by my city) but that's easy enough if you're handy with tin snips and repurposing a hot fat fryer basket. We also chose to use an old collapsible steel steamer insert to hold the pellets to help with cleanup. Using pellets, the fuel burns down to a fine white ash and the spark arrester makes using the samovar virtually smokeless - much like using a rocket stove. A good buy. Tracking allowed us the additional entertainment of watching it's progress to Canada from Turkey.

It’s light weight and works well. Size is great.
