OK, was soll man zu Tupper sagen? Ich bin mit den Tupperpartys groß geworden. Fanden in den 70ziger regelmäßig bei uns statt. Noch heute sind die Schränke voll damit, weil man ja Tupper nicht weg schmeißt. Diese Spaghetti Dose ist richtig Klasse, man kann jeweils eine oder zwei Portionen entnehmen. Zugreifen, wenn ihr sowas sucht.

So, I had one of these years ago with a pink lid. Somehow, my ex got it in the divorce. For the past few years, I’ve been kinda at a loss when I make spaghetti or Angel hair pasta, as far as measuring for the recipe or amount of people eating. Got so irritated that I looked for one and found here. Other people complained about the lid and the stopper, but I don’t have any issues. The stopper - the inside lid that has the holes in it to measure a single or double serving - has little grooves that it pops in to, just like my pink one did. If you don’t pop the edges into place, then it’s not going to stay. (But maybe they had defective ones?) The outer lid IS a bit tight. My 85 yr old mother has difficulty with it. But if you soak the lid in super-hot water (they say not to boil it though) for 5 minutes, then put it on the container, it’ll stretch it out a bit and should make it easier to open. I did that and it worked a bit. I might not have had the water hit enough. (Only used hot water from the tap and our water doesn’t get super-hot.)All-in-all, it’s a handy little kitchen helper if you cook any kind of long pasta and can never figure out how much is a serving!

Several years ago, we had one of these spaghetti holder. We really liked it, and it prevented spaghetti falling out of open boxes. We lost this somewhere, and I've had cc spaghetti fall on the counter or the floor too many times. I looked for a replacement idea, and I was delighted to find this. It's inexpensive, simple to use, and helps me save money and energy by preventing the waste of spaghetti that could be part of a meal.
