These are excellent quality pens, the brush nips are a felt type with good bend but not too much. Able to do tiny dots to maybe 3-3mm line thickness when I use them slightly to the side. The ink delivery is fantastic, no pressing them.A good range of colours, and the paint quality is as good as the famous brand, excellent coverage!I use alongside my acrylic paints, did all the hair tassels on this WIP of Arlo the Afghan with them. They have been shaded with a glaze of white and purple shadow (rest of his hair will be completed later!) It means am not wasting paint for small colourful areas.They will work over each other, over traditional acrylic paint, and you can paint/glaze over of them just like any other acrylic paint once dry.I am that impressed I have recommended to my art students. I hope new colour sets and individual ones are available eventually!Thank you for a very stable, great quality product at an affordable price with such versatile nibs.....and the best ink delivery I have come across!
