Great colour, great price

These are so pretty. I let the aesthetics determine this purchase, which was a mistake. Square- or rectangular-based containers would have been more practical than these round ones space-wise.However the worst thing about them is that they don't actually seal well. They're not fit-for purpose as tea canisters, as they are not air-tight. The tea leaves loose their freshness VERY quickly compared to tea left in canisters that do seal well. If you use individually-sealed tea bags that don't require an air-tight container, these will be fine, but otherwise, don't make the same mistake I did.
