I wear hearing aids. When I am outside working and sweating, the sweat trickles down and gets into my over the ear hearing aids. Eventually they stop. Take them off, open them up , blow out the moisture and away I go, but it comes back. Head bands greatly reduce this issue. These are very absorbent, feel good to wear and greatly reduce this problem. I say greatly because they have their limits and I am working hard and out a lot the head bands get overloaded, which is why a set of four allows me to change them. Previous head bands I had were so flimsy that they would overload way too quickly. No I do not think I am especially a high sweat person, but.......

I bought these for me and I am a female with an average size head, but they were way too small. They fit my 9yr old kid, but even tight on him.As for material, They are a thick, soft, nice made terry cloth type material.
