I have had cats for more than 40 years(!), and also fostered for a cat rescue charity, so have tried many different brushes and rollers for removing pet hair. I don't like to use the sticky paper type of single-use lint rolls, preferring washable, reusable ones, which are better for the environment, but I haven't found them very practical for small portable rollers. I really need to take one of these out with me on most days, particularly if I'm wearing dark coloured clothes, but the rollers quickly get covered in hair and then need washing and drying - not something you can usually do until you get home.These mini lint remover brushes took me right back to the red fabric ones I started with when I first had cats. They're reusable, and not horribly sticky like paper or plastic washable ones; after use, you just run your finger over the brush to remove the fluff and fur, and then dispose of it. I'm happy to return to this basic method of lint removal, but really do need something that is better quality than these 4 foldable lint brushes. Okay, they are very cheap - only £1.30 each - but I'm not expecting them to last for very long as the hinges are going to snap. Also, the cases don't stay closed, so the brushes will not only pick up lint from inside my rucksack, but are also likely to break in there. They may be reusable, but this isn't going to be good for the environment if you have to keep replacing them.
