Ensemble composé de 2 clé pour connecteur de panneau solaire photovoltaïque type MC4.- la première utilisation est bien entendu de pouvoir démonter facilement les connections des panneaux solaires installé sur l'onduleur ou au niveau des rallonges parfois nécessaires. Ca change la vie ! L'outil se clipse et on peut même avoir les 2 mains libre pour séparer les 2 parties du connecteur.- resserrer les connecteurs qui d'origine ne sont pas vraiment convenablement serré. C'est pour cela qu'il en faut 2. Une pour tenir la partie du connecteur (mâle ou femelle) et l'autre pour la seconde partie du même connecteur. Simple et efficace.Les 2 clefs sont en plastique assez rigide. Pour les empreintes, pas de soucis de résistance, pour les parties nécessaires pour la déconnexion il faudra faire attention du fait de leur plus faible épaisseur : c'est le prix de la flexibilité nécessaire !OK on peut faire sans ... je l'ai tenté mais les connexions/déconnexions que c'est pénible surtout que l'on est facilement dans un position acrobatique dans un espace très limité et avec les doigts c'est vraiment pas facile. Maintenant,Le serrage des connecteurs avec ces outils permet de standardiser aisément le serrage de chaque connectique : rassurant. J'avais repousser le câble management dans l'attente de ces outils. Maintenant c'est nickel.Bref, c'est juste INDISPENSABLE

Le due chiavette presentano tutte le configurazioni per poter smontare qualsiasi connettore MC4 (per fotovoltaico).La costruzione è realizzata con una plastica decisamente robusta, sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso soprattutto dai PIN esterni per i quali mi sarei aspettato una certa fragilità, invece si sono dimostrati assolutamente solidi e robusti.Il prezzo è molto competitivo e data la bontà del prodotto mi sento di consigliarlo

If you've used solar MC4 connectors, you know that, like all other connectors, there are male and female ends, they mate together and you need to keep dirt and moisture out at all costs to prevent corrosion. Now, these connectors are never in easy to get to locations and getting them assembled, or getting them apart, particularly after they have been installed for a while and all the O rings have pushed in tight, then this can be a problem.This kit contains two tools, branded in the glass reinforced plastic as Maylar, Sunny Twins (presumably as they are used for solar work). One tool is marked A and the other marked B, each has a different profile with different spanner profiles to suit a specific solar connector type. On each tool, the idea is that you find the ones that fit from each end and use that to provide the torque to assemble or disassemble the plugs and sockets.The thin breakable looking ears are there to push the mating barbs back so that you can disengage the two connectors, so no more poking the barbs with a screwdriver and trying to get the other one done before the first one pops back into place. The thickest ones just slide over the barb location, you push down until the tool seats fully and the connectors come apart easily.I've not pushed the barbs particularly hard as I don't want to find out their snapping load, but they feel firm and flex a little, they definitely need a little care, but they aren't matchsticks either. I won't be leaving mine loose in the bottom of the toolbox.These tools will speed up work on solar installations and at only £4.99 for the pair at the point of review, it would be silly not to pick up a pair.

These are made from hard plastic so I'm not sure how much "abuse" they will take. They are robust enough at the moment, work well with our solar connectors and worth having in your toolkit.
