Connected this to a TP-Link Poe switch and it would not power up.Next I tried a passive POE injector and it would power the device. Connecting a laptop at the other end (450’ run with the device in the middle) it did greatly improve my connectivity. Using IPerf3 software, I was able to get consistent 987mbps between two laptops. However, when I plugged the far end in to a switch, the device shutdown again.In short, don’t buy this if you have TP-Link stuff. I’m sure it would work great with Ubiquiti switches.

This didn’t work as promised. It will only provide Ethernet extension for PoE devices. It will not work for non-PoE devices.Very disappointed
