Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-M-PRO 1750 Mbit/s Wit Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Product works well. It's bigger than I expected. It also uses 8 Watts of electricity which was more than I hoped for. Range is okay, not super. About 100 meters I would estimate in clear sight outside. Speed is decent. It also allows looping the network cable to another device.

This Ubiquiti mesh AP is a beast! I picked up this open box and it was practically brand new. Signal strength is amazing, even across long distances and through obstacles. Setup was a breeze with the UniFi controller. If you need rock-solid Wi-Fi coverage over a large area, this is the way to go. Just be sure to check the return policy carefully since it's open box.

Non è un acces point standard, non possiede un interfaccia web per la configurazione, ma si deve programmare attraverso un programma sul computer, sul quale si inseriscono i settaggi che vengono trasferiti all interno dell apparecchio. Serve per creare una rete hotspot per il publico che permetta ai clienti di accedere ad internet. Per quel che riguarda il funzionamento l apparecchio deve avere un gateway attivo per poter accedere ad internet pena l oscurazione dell ssid, il gateway può essere raggiunto sia via cavo Ethernet oppure attraverso un "ponte radio" su un altro apparecchio uguale che abbia il gateway raggiungibile. Quest ultimo sarà utilizzato per l'uplink (in questo caso wireless)

I’m using 2nof these to replace my now out of support UAP AC Outdoor units.Apart from being less than one third of the price, performance is identical.As mentioned, I’m using them in AP mode. I did try out the mesh functionality for a week and it was flawless.Comes with Poe injector if required (48v) and a UK plug. Also comes with pole mounting hardware if the wall mount is not suitable.
