In precedenza avevo provato un set economico, colore nero con farfalla rossa, ma non sono durati piú di una settimana, poi ho preso questi, e si é notata subito la differenza. With a glasshouse full of hosing used in irrigation I am always going through these 1/2 inch ball valves. In the past I have used the black valves with a red twist valve for opening and closing. These are very smooth opening and closing. I have found though that they are tighter than the ones I currently use, it is quite difficult to push them on to the 1/2 inch tubing. The black pdf tubing is very stiff and so quite hard to force them on. I think to make it easier next time I will make sure I heat the tubing first, that usually helps. Once on they are not coming off any time soon.

I’ve have a number of pot plants that need regular watering, especially during hot dry periods. In the past when we go on holiday I’ve used a length or hose with small holes drilled in it and placed the pots under them but it’s not exact or always successful.These can be placed in the pots and the hose can be adapted to fit between them. They can also be turned on and off for plants that may need less water.When coupled with a timer value they can be turned on for a set time at a set time of day.These will water ten plant pots at a time and at just under 70p each represent good value for money.
