I bought this to use with my Nintendo Switch, which is connected to my monitor via HDMI. I had my headset connected to the console using the 3.5mm jack, but it was a bit of a hassle disconnecting and reconnecting it everytime I wanted to undock and dock it. So instead, I connected my headset to this USB Audio Adapter and connected that to one of the Switch's USB ports. Works a treat.
