Honestly, there is no long explanation needed for this item, because it's fairly straightforward. UGREEN has always made solid, fantastic, no-nonsense products, and this one is no exception. As you can tell, it's a USB-A to USB-C adapter with a metal enclosure. This, in my testing, just about worked everywhere with no fuss from my laptop to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S24+) to even on a PS5 for both DualSense Edge connection and USB stick for storage. You do have to be aware that even though it says "Thunderbolt 3/4 compatible", it doesn't mean it allows data transfer speeds up to their maximum because it's still limited to a USB3.2 Gen 2×1 (aka. USB 3.1) standard meaning it allows a theoretical max. speed of 10Gbps. If you're planning on making ultra fast data transfers, do make sure USB 3.1 won't be the bottleneck, but otherwise, for most "standard" applications, you should be fine. The adapter is rather narrow which works great for USB-C ports that are close to each other (especially on a laptop), and it's robust enough to feel like it'll last a while. At a price that roughly constitutes $4/adapter, I think these are about in-line with other USB-A to C adapters on the market. It's recommended!
