Ingenieus bedacht zonder schroeven. Geheel alluminium uitgevoerd en extra kras bescherming door het gebruik van een rubberen omhulsel. Mijn "oude" Samsung 960 uit mijn PC kon nu gelijk weer in actie komen.

Het werkt erg goed en hij is snel MAAR, De NVME pcb wordt op zijn plaats gehouden door een heel klein slap rubberen plugje ipv een klein boutje zoals bij de betere merken.Ik heb hem al eens per ongeluk van een stoel laten glijden waardoor hij op de grond terecht kwam en het daarna niet meer deed.Door de schok (eerlijk gezegd een klein schokje van zo'n lage hoogte) was het NVME printje uit zijn socket geschoven omdat het rubberen dopje gewoon meegeeft.Open gemaakt, rubberen dopje eruit gepulkt en pcb er weer goed ingedrukt en rubberen dopje terug gedrukt en hij deed het weer.Niet erg betrouwbaar.

Good enclosure, got it for 26€, do not hesitate to push the M.2 into its slot in a 30 degree angle to install it right, once it's connected just add the rubber screw. If your M.2 does not appear but you still hear the plugged in USB sound, I recommend formatting the drive and then it will appear ! Speed are good, it does not matter whether you have a PCI3/PCI4 SSD because you will be clamped at maximum speed of ~1000mb/s using an appropriate new gen USB port. Here are some benchmark result done via USB C and USB A, I'm using a PCI3 Samsung EVO PLUS 2To, USB C is the fastest one. The enclosure gets hot even after this small benchmark so keep that in mind. I appreciate the fast delivery and the quality of the product, let's hope it will hold through time.

Overall good. Proper chip, good design, works well.But, thermals aren't. Heat dissipation isn't designed properly...

Works fine with Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB.A huge note: be sure to insert the SSD properly into the slot (needs some force in order to do so) - it took me a while ti understand that MacOS did not see external SSD not because there were no drivers or something but because I did not inserted it properly.

Used it to check my recent Nvme SSD purchase, it works perfectly

Likes:1. Tool free. I use it to recover data from dead notebooks. That means swapping drives very often.2. Bootable. Not all SSD cases are bootable. Can even run Windows to GO with this.3. Supports TRIM!Dislike:1. Not for long term storage and use. There is no proper head sink for the SSD drive.2. That rubber peg is not very secure in holding the drive.
