The magnets are strong and it works perfectly with my samsung galaxy ultra witha magsafe compatible case. Even with that beast of telephone the stand is very stable. I don't notive any heating during changing and the green led only turns on when charging the earbuds which is great as it won't disturb my sleep.

No coil whine. The Belkin 3in1 charger did have coil whine but this one does not!
