It is fast and has compatibility with many nvme devices and operating systems.Only once or twice did I put it under heavy load. It gets burning hot but it dissipates heat quite well and maintains acceptable speeds

Had een SSD reepje over en de Ugreen behuizing is perfect om er een (reuze!) usb "stick" van te maken!Handig, gebruik hem vaak en ik vind dit zeker een aanrader!

Geen enkele SSD werd gelezen door de UGreen terwijl de led wel brandde. SSD retour gestuurd, nieuwe besteld, zelfde verhaal.Voor velen de oplossing: prik m in, kijk of het ledje brandt. Geen schijf gevonden in verkenner? Tik met rechts op Windows icoon, schijfbeheer en volg de stappen.Dat scheelt waarschijnlijk de helft aan negatieve reacties.Snelheid op USB 4.0 loopt ook soepel.

I'd be completely satisfied with this enclosure if it weren't for the fact that the controller it uses, the JMicron JMS583, has compatibility issues that I've been able to replicate on several machines. From what I have seen, the time taken to mount the file system can be very long. The SSD I used was a Kingston A2000. I found this unacceptable and returned it. The sister case with the model number 90408 doesn't have this problem. This is most likely due to the different controller it uses: Realtek RTL9210B.

So I connected it to my Mac with a USB4 (40Gbps) cable. The speed was crazy fast (the advertised 10Gbps), but it turned the SSD casing into molten lava and it kept crashing. I switched the cable to a USB2 (480Mbps) and put it in front of my fan, which worked.I feel that this is straight up false advertisement, if the transfer speed is only realistic for 1-2 minutes before overheating.3 Stars, because it works fine otherwise, and I would have bought it regardless.

I installed a samsung 990 pro in this and only got 500mb write speed at max, so not the 10gb/s they promised.

Trasnfer speed is impressive.Solid feel when holding it.Solid product with impressive transfer speed.It was clocking 580MB/s using a ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th generation USB-C port transferring to my external SSD with this casing.

Ich bin äußerst zufrieden mit dem Adapter. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten sind tendentiell eher von den SSDs limitiert (zumindest bei den von mir genutzten SSDs (Samsung 980 Pro und SK Hynix P41 Platinum)). Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten von 1 GB/s sind normal und vorallem, stabil über die komplette Datenübertragung hinweg. Es wird nach größeren verschobenen Datenmengen (150 GB+) etwas warm, das ist meiner Meinung nach aber kein Problem. Dann wartet man halt kurz 1 min bis das gehäuse wieder kühl ist. Die SSDs zu tauschen ist ein Aufwand von 60 Sekunden und der mitgelieferte Schraubendreher eignet sich super.
