Really happy with this new sata ssd adapter. I was initially afraid that it would be a bit slower than the USB C versions that are also on the market. However, this is the fastest SATA SSD adapter I have ever had with speeds of up to 400Mbps, while others reached a maximum of 200Mbps. The plastic does feel a bit cheaper, but you can expect that for the price. I prefer cheaper plastic and a high copy speed than a slow SSD reader.

Met deze USB naar SATA adapter kan ik mijn Raspberry Pi opstarten met goedkope SSD's die ik gebruik in plaats van SD kaartjes. Kabel is lang genoeg om makkelijk mee te werken. Prijs is ook gunstig.

t could have been delivered for 6-8 euros, well 13 euros is quite costly for this. but product wise it's all good, serves the purpose and no loose connection or mis connection.

Heb meerdere van dit soort converters , enkele werken niet, maar van dit merk ugreen wel.

Günstiges Gerät, um die 2.5"-SSDs quasi als mobile Datenträger einzusetzen. Zwar sind SATA-Steckkontakte nicht für soviele Zyklen spezifiziert, wie etwa USB, aber vom Design her machen sie das schon auch ’ne Weile mit, und dieses 2.5"-Format ist recht praktisch. Diese Konverter schaffen einen ordentlichen Durchsatz, zumindest die hier rumliegenden SSDs sind daran nicht langsamer, als direkt am Board, und man kann mit ihnen die SMART-Daten der Laufwerke auslesen, was ja auch nicht überall der Fall ist. Das Kabel ist ausreichend lang und das Gehäuse macht einen robusten Eindruck.
