With modern laptops, settling down on your work desk requires some activity, reminiscent of an electrical engineer. HDMI display, keyboard, mouse, power, network, it takes some plugging in before one can get to work. With this docking station 1 cable is enough. Well, if they could put in a 2,5mm audio in/out, it would be perfect.

Kon het voor het bestellen niet bevestigd krijgen maar de netwerkchip is in ieder geval compatible met Google TV 4k. Ik heb nog geen snelheidstest gedaan maar verwacht geen probleem. Had dit echt nodig om Moonlight met een voldoende bitrate te laten werken. Ugreen is toch wel 1 van de betere producenten van usb-hubs e.d.

The ethernet does not seem to work on Mac M1 laptop with Ventura. Perhaps with some drivers its able to get it to working, but I didn't get it working out of the box.

The HDMI output port of my HP Elitebook 840 G5 is not working, so I bought this docking station and connected it to the USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 port of the laptop. With a (1080p 60 fps) monitor connected to the HDMI port and no other action on my part, within a few seconds I had a picture !Just for fun I tried connecting it to the USB-C (charging) port of a Lenovo Android tablet and a Motorola Android smartphone ,and I got nothing. Oh well, that is what I expected.Not recommended for an UHD (2160p) monitor because of the limited frame rate (then 30 fps).
